These three social casinos had some of the biggest ad spends in January 2025 and enter February among the most recognizable and popular of the sweepstakes casinos on the scene today.  Customers are also raving about them...for the most part anyway.

Featuring real reviews from real customers

Unlike the real money online casinos, sweepstakes casinos do not require a deposit.  Game play is via virtual coins which eventually require real money purchases (otherwise known as a "legal loophole").

Solitaire Grand Harvest

Relax and play Solitaire games at the "Grand Farm" with a festive twist - featuring Snoopy and his friends from Peanuts! Snoopy is back, dressed in his cozy winter hat and scarf, ready to charm everyone at his Winter Fair!

Their most recent advertisement airing features Snoopy, which to us seems a little too targeted towards minors.

Some of the more positive reviews from January include:

"Super addicting solitaire game, but they want your money!"

"I like the animal themes. it can take significant time to progress unless you pay."

"Interesting version of solitaire entertaining and fun."

"It's a lot better than the normal solitaire and easy enough to follow."

The app is not without its criticisms.  Note that some of these reviews feature spelling errors.

"I agree with quite a few of them. The amt of coins spent to play each level as you advance, is to high. Just as the wild cards are to pricy as well. Especially when you buy another one within the same level. It's nearly double the amt of coins to buy a second one. It's asinine. The 5 extra cards are ok. Much more reasonable. You don't get much from the harvest and only once an hr. Takes 4 ever to build an amt reasonable enoughto play just a fewleve."

"I love this game but dang its expensive!! I don't mind paying to play but this one is ridiculous. Lower the cost of extra hands, undo, and wild cards and you'll probably keep more players. Love the concept and the graphics are amazing; the costs are too prohibitive to become addictive. Changed phones after spending a couple hundred bucks and over a million points and lost it all. Uninstalling off the new phone; maybe a blessing in disguise. Ridiculous."

"Sometimes it lagges a lot and I can't do anything but I love all the games."

Gold Fish Casino Slots

Their commercials were airing like crazy during the month of January and feature former Full House star John Stamos. He also played "Blackie" on General Hospital.

The reviews for Gold Fish Casino Slots heading into February are mostly favorable.

Mike Shutta writes:

"This game looks to have the best collection of slots but you can't play the better ones (i.e Frankenstein) without making the minimum bet. You have to buy credits to do so. I did buy in twice and making bets to match the daily quest however ran out funds within 2 hours of play. The game will stop jackpots and bonuses cold where they were realistic for the first 30min. Don't bother contacting them about this, they won't care. Save your money for other games."

C. Junker advises:

"The only thing is.. I wish it was normal amounts of money not millions to start it'd be great if you had to work your way up to huge sums of money because millions take the fun away im not a millionaire if I had that kind of money I don't think I would even gamble at all that's all I want to say otherwise I like that they use real casino games that I have actually played at the casino."

Monopoly Go

The commercials for this app were running nonstop throughout the month of January.

Monopoly Go! is a 2023 mobile board game developed and published by Scopely for Android and iOS devices. It is based on the board game by Hasbro.

Now we love the board game but just how good is this app?

One customer writes:

"Overall, love the game. My boyfriend and I both play together and it's so fun! The only problem I've come across is it offers extra dice for adding your phone number/contacts, but any time I try to add it, it won't let me type my number in."

Brian Dreher writes:

"Downloaded to play through Mist play but within 12 hours I've become as addicted to monopoly go as I have candy crush when it first released. Brings fun for you and friends."

Christy Ware had this to say about Monopoly Go:

"Very good game!! The partner theme is the best, only issue with that, we as humans have to work so that causes us to work harder to get our job done with the tat. Me personally I asking to ....give us more days more things and special events to increase our way to achieve our goal. Y'all have been doing way better with other games to keep us interested. Thank y'all. But I know y'all have to get paid but at the same time,I'm looking out for us as the player."

Not everyone loves the game.

Nurse Mate:

"Horrible. Entices in App purchases, the piece you need never pops up again. I will never purchase anything again. The game asks for too much money. Animal coins is better."
